Abstract: The proceedings of the 15th edition of the National Catechetical Congress “Christ shared to the children” started on October 5, 2022, at “the Holy Cross” Social and Pastoral Centre of the Caraiman Monastery. The meeting of this year id dedicated to the actual problems of the youths and their approach within the context of the parochial catechetical activity. In his opening speech, His Grace Father Varlaam Ploieșteanul, Patriarchal Assistant Bishop, read out the message of His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel called “The youths’ spiritual formation – fruit of the prayer and action”.
La Centrul social‑pastoral „Sfânta Cruce” de la Mănăstirea Caraiman, au debutat, în data de 5 octombrie 2022, lucrările celei de‑a 15‑a ediții a Congresului național „Hristos împărtășit copiilor”. Întâlnirea din acest an este dedicată problematicii actuale a tinerilor și abordării acesteia în contextul activității catehetice parohiale. În deschidere, Preasfințitul Părinte Varlaam Ploieșteanul, Episcop‑vicar patriarhal, a citit mesajul Preafericitului Părinte Patriarh Daniel, intitulat „Formarea spirituală a tinerilor – rodul rugăciunii și al acțiunii”.

Summary: At the National Catechetical Congress “Christ shared to the children”, the 15th edition, which started on October 5, 2022, at “the Holy Cross” Social and Pastoral Centre of the Caraiman Monastery (Prahova County), were debated matters such as the catechetical content destined to the youths within the formation of their character and in the process of their education as well as the suitable method of delivering this content to the ages or stages specific to the development of the children and the youths. Representatives of the Ministry of National Education and inspectors within the frame of the eparchies of Romania and from the Diaspora, who are responsible for the catechetical activity also participated in this event. Therewith, in the opening of this event His Grace Father Varlaam Ploieșteanul, Patriarchal Assistant Bishop, read out the message of His Beatitude Father Patriarch Daniel, headed “The young men’s spiritual formation – the fruit of prayer and action”. Also, a work session taken on groups took place, around “The young men’s problems and their approach from two aspects: young men and trainers/educators”, followed by the reference on groups, questions and answers in plenum about the presented patterns.
